  German collecting society GEMA released 'PLAI by GEMA,' a dataset for AI training that bundles composition rights and master recording rights together with the audio files and metadata. It covers roughly 178,000 tracks across more than 60 genres, and the AI sheet-music service Klangio signed on as its first customer. It is commercial licensing infrastructure meant to let AI music companies obtain lawful training data without chasing permission from every rightsholder one by one.

  Character.ai opened a beta of 'Lorebook,' which hands the same setting to multiple AI characters. Register the people, places, events, factions, and rules of a world in advance, and the relevant entry gets pulled in when a keyword surfaces mid-conversation. One Lorebook can be linked to several characters, so a connected world and a cast can be built around it. The company already used it to manage the setting of its recent AI micro-dramas, and paid subscribers get it first.

  Yoroll, an interactive AI video platform, released the playable film 'AI Odyssey.' A single creator built it from about 140 generative AI clips and 11 endings. Every 30 to 50 seconds the viewer picks an option or steps in through a QTE, and the story branches and lands on a different ending accordingly. Yoroll folds video generation, character consistency, voice, branching narrative, game-state handling, and distribution into one production environment.
