- [Yonhap News] ONESTORE Launches Its Global App Market Across 122 Countries ↗
ONESTORE formally opened ONESTORE Global across 122 countries along with OneShop, its direct-to-consumer payment platform. It starts with more than 1,000 pieces of content and puts AI and blockchain-based titles, including games that have struggled to fit other app-store rules, at the front of the catalog. In September, it plans to show global users AI Games, a section for games made with AI that can run inside ONESTORE Global without a separate app download. OneShop now serves seven markets including Korea, the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and charges developers only a 5% fee on top of payment-gateway costs.
- [Runway] Runway Introduces Solaris, a Real-Time Interface Generation Model ↗
Runway introduced Solaris, its first Interface World Model. Instead of rendering an app or website from code written in advance, Solaris generates the screen and its responses frame by frame as a user interacts with it. Runway argues that removing the translation step from visual design to code can preserve both visual fidelity and interactivity. The company also frames Solaris as a training environment for agents that struggle with ordinary computer-use tasks, such as booking hotels or ordering groceries, when interfaces vary from site to site.
- [TechCrunch] Instagram Limits the Reach of Undisclosed AI-Generated Profiles ↗
Instagram is renaming its AI creator label to AI-generated profile and making the disclosure clearer for accounts built around a person generated or substantially created with AI. Accounts that feature an AI-generated person without the proper label could see their reach reduced. The rule does not apply to every AI use, such as editing photos, polishing captions, or making graphics. Instagram is tying identity disclosure to distribution after users complained about profiles that looked human until they later turned out to be synthetic.
One line: App stores are making room for AI-native games, creative tools are starting to generate the interface itself, and social platforms are turning AI identity disclosure into a distribution rule.
