- [GamesBeat] Ludo.ai brings game-asset creation into the developer terminal ↗
Ludo.ai released Ludo CLI so developers can create game assets without opening a browser. The terminal interface generates sprites, animations, images, 3D models, video, sound effects, music, and voices, then saves the results directly to disk. Coding agents such as Claude Code can call individual commands and chain character creation, animation, and sound generation into a single workflow. The release adds a CLI and Unity plugin to Ludo's existing REST API and MCP integrations, bringing generative production tools closer to the development environment.
- [Music Ally] Musixmatch acquires Music Reports, owner of Songdex and Blokur ↗
Musixmatch acquired Music Reports, the US company behind the Songdex rights registry and the rights and licensing firm Blokur. The terms were not disclosed, but Musixmatch said the deal will help it move beyond lyrics into a full-stack rights and royalties platform spanning mechanical, sync, print, and performance rights. It plans to combine its data with Songdex to connect recordings, compositions, and rights information across the global music ecosystem. The deal also includes Cuetrak, a cue-sheet and analytics tool used by studios, streaming services, and broadcasters.
- [CHOSUNBIZ] JYP Partners and SM explore personalized conversational AI idols ↗
JYP Partners and SM Entertainment are exploring investments in AI-artist startups that could give each fan different conversations and images. No final investment decision has been made, although some parties reportedly showed soft-commitment interest after reviewing materials. JYP Entertainment is pursuing the AI-artist and virtual-idol market through its subsidiary Blue Garage, while SM debuted the virtual artist nævis in 2024. The model under discussion would have AI generate replies and context-specific images for each fan instead of relying only on a human performer behind a character's voice and movements.
One line: Entertainment technology is moving generative tools into production environments while rights infrastructure and fan relationships become more programmable.
