Moonshot AI has brought Kimi K3.1 Pro to its apps, coding tools, and API alongside 3D Make, an online feature for creating and editing models. Users can start from prompts and templates, revise the result in the browser, download files for 3D printing, or export videos and Live Photos. Kimi also highlights compatibility with Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot. A Highspeed version is described as roughly two to three times faster, while downloadable model weights are due on November 4.
- [The Manila Times] Meshy Expands Browser-Based 3D Creation Through a Free Tier ↗
Meshy is expanding a browser platform that turns text and images into 3D models and adds AI texturing and auto-rigging. The service combines a free tier with developer API access, giving game developers and designers a way to create and inspect early assets without specialized 3D software. Users can refine the generated models for games, design work, and 3D printing. The move pushes an asset workflow that once required specialist tools toward the browser and a lower-cost entry point.
- [K-EnterTech Hub] Free Streaming Services Took 65.5% of U.S. Streaming Ad Exposure Time ↗
Comscore's first monthly report found that streaming accounted for 49.6% of U.S. television viewing in August but only 22.3% of ad exposure time. Among streaming ad minutes, free services including YouTube, Tubi, The Roku Channel, and Pluto TV supplied 65.5%. The gap shows that free services are becoming the main distribution layer for streaming television advertising even when paid services retain substantial viewing time. Subscription and FAST operators are therefore competing over visible ad inventory as much as over total viewing.
One line: Browser and API access are lowering the barrier to 3D production while free streaming services capture an outsized share of entertainment advertising supply.
