Suno said it will embed audio watermarks and fingerprints in tracks made with its tools so platforms and distributors can identify and trace them. It also reworked its download policy to curb the practice of mass-generating AI tracks and flooding streaming services with them. Its community guidelines now spell out bans on fraud, spam, fake streaming, and imitating someone's voice or likeness without permission. This is the first concrete operating plan that pairs provenance marking with volume control at the point of generation.

MFE, the parent of Germany's ProSiebenSat.1, said it will build a shared streaming platform linking six European markets and launch it in the second quarter of 2027. ProSiebenSat.1 has already agreed to carry public broadcaster ZDF's on-demand catalog inside its own Joyn service and is pushing for further integration with ARD and others. It amounts to a European alliance that binds national broadcast content to one technical and distribution layer to take on Netflix and Amazon.

TVING reported second-quarter revenue of 140.7 billion won and operating profit of 6 billion won, its first profitable quarter since launch. It came from opening TVING-branded hubs inside HBO Max and Disney+, extending distribution to Japan and 17 markets across Asia-Pacific. CJ ENM plans to move talks on merging TVING and Wavve forward in the second half, and has already put AI-driven CG and VFX and interactive virtual product placement into actual drama production and IP work.
One line: Suno started tagging what it makes, European broadcasters are pooling their own platform, and TVING rented a room inside someone else's and turned a profit.
